Freeguild Crossbowmen are soldiers of the Free Peoples, the Freeguild and the Cities of Sigmar. They support larger infantry units as part of the battle line.[1a][2]
They are often fielded in large numbers in battle to provide devastating volleys of iron-tipped, piercing bolts which they rely to overwhelm enemies. They are led by a Marksman and supported by Standard Bearers and Pipers.[1a][1b][3][4]
Wargear
They are normally armed with Freeguild Crossbows and daggers. The Crossbow is the favoured weapon of marksmen for both its strength and how easy it is to master. [1b][4]
