Druchiroth
Druchiroth is the great citadel and capital found in Greater Ulguroth, the largest of the Thirteen Dominions, that serves as Malerion's ruling seat.[1a][6a] Malerion rarely leaves the citadel, instead preferring to cast his spirit into the shadows of the Mortal Realms.[4a]
History
Age of Myth
For centuries Malerion and Morathi reigned in the Realm of Ulgu before encountering the other deities that would form the Pantheon of Order. It was during these early years of united reign that they used their magics to raise the great citadel of Druchiroth. But the two ever sought opportunities to distance themself from the other. So when Sigmar, during his journeys across the Mortal Realms, arrived at Druchiroth both mother and son saw the alliance he offered as a means to severe ties to the other. The alliance was sealed by Sigmar adding his might and expertise to the construction of the great citadel, after which the rulers of Ulgu joined the Grand Alliance of Order.[1a][4a]
It would be Malerion who would reap the most from this alliance. Though he nor Morathi were fully trusted by their deific allies, it was Malerion who received praise for his aid while Morathi was ostracized. Tyrion and Teclis in particular refused to work with Morathi, believing her tainted, and the rest knew of her treacherous reputation of old. Eventually Morathi left the Pantheon and Ulgu's ruling seat of Druchiroth to forge domains of her own.[5a]
Malerion rejected proposals by his mother to split the Thirteen Dominions, instead offering her a mere scrap od land in the Umbral Veil that he had believed too inhospitable to make use of, for none except himself had ever visited it and returned sane. The city that Morathi built there, Hagg Nar, would in time grow to rival Druchiroth.[5a]
Age of Sigmar
Malerion, from his seat in Druchiroth, capitalized on the Arcanum Optimar to bring Shadow Magic to greater heights than ever before.[2a]
Society
Justice
On occasion shape-shifters, whose guises can fool even Judicators, have escaped the gallows of Druchiroth and Stormcast Eternals, such as Vagria Farstrike, have been trusted to hunt them down.[3a]
Inhabitants
The most notable inhabitant of Druchiroth is Malerion himself.[4a] Other inhabitants include monstrous beings made from Aelf-souls recovered from Slaanesh, though Malerion has covered up these early failures.[1b]
