Doompool

Doompools are Chaos-tainted whirlways. They can spawn vortexes that spin through the seas, spewing daemons, as well as grow to suck everything nearby into the Realm of Chaos, so the Idoneth Deepkin attempt to close them whenever they encounter them.^[1a]

History

In the Age of Sigmar, Tzeentchian forces corrupted many whirlways, and the Idoneth fought a number of wars to close the corrupted portals against daemons attempting to keep them open.^[1a]
