Bjarl Stomp

The Bjarl Stomp is a Stomp of Gargants from Bjarl in the Realm of Beasts. They learned the secret of defeating gheists from the Drakkfoot Bonesplitterz.^[1a]

History

Many gargants feared the Nighthaunt following the Necroquake, something that only intensified after the Greatpeaks Massacre. With no physical form to stomp, the ghosts seemed immune to the gargants' most sophisticated tactics. When the Bjarl Stomp joined with the Drakkfoot to fight bloodgheists at the Asp River, the Stomp regained some of their mettle by seeing how the Bonesplitterz could hack the spirits apart and dispel their magic by sheer pigheadedness and loud shouting. Inspired by their allies, the Stomp finds that they can smash the gheists with ease.^[1a]

The story of the gargants who can stomp on ghosts, and their leader Ghost Stamper, spreads fall and wide and serves as a counter-narrative to the story of the Greatpeaks Massacre.^[1a]
