Basilisks are creatures that are a living blight. They are surrounded by a corrosive miasma, both physical and spiritual, that is so poisonous that the ground they walk on becomes poisonous itself, quickly reducing the area to ruinous wasteland, wrecking both crops and livestock. The poison causes those affected by to choke on their own blood. Their malignant gaze allows it to focus its malice upon their victims, radiating evil that slowly melts their victim, turning them into a pile of steaming flesh and blistering metal. Should those fail they can use their acidic spittle, their venomous bite and their clutching claws.[1]
