Ar-Ennascath is the capital of the Syari Magocracy, one of the Great Nations of Hysh.[1a] It is a wondrous, golden city carved into the flank of a mountain overlooking the Luminaris Sea.[2]

History

Age of Myth

The Syari make grand and wondrous creations. The likes of which bring awe and wonder to all that behold them, though many are destructive.[1a]

Age of Chaos

The Syari are decimated during the Ocari Dara, or Spirefall, and those who survive are deeply traumatized. The lands around Ar-Ennascath are ravaged and warped forever, turned into a wasteland haunted by predatory spells and malevolent sentient chasms.[1a]

Age of Sigmar

The people of Ar-Ennascath swear to never again create artisanry as destructive as they once did. But it is not long until Teclis, after long and convincing debate, sways many Syari to once again turn to the arts of weaponsmithing, to create weapons that can destroy the threats imposed by the forces of Chaos.[1a]

Locations

The architecture of the city is designed to compliment the land upon which it is built, harmoniously co-existing with the natural vistas surrounding it.[1a]

  • Gates of Ar-Ennascath: The only way to enter the city is by passing through the volatile wasteland around their city. Once this has been achieved visitors can look in awe upon the wondrous gates of the city. Which are made of gossamer-thin cloth with Auralan runes displayed upon it.[1a][2a]

Culture

The Syari are renowned as craftsmen and builders, and every year they hold a festival within their city dedicated to artisanry.[1a] This festival attracts master artisans from all across the Mortal Realms including human gunsmiths, Ironweld engineers, Fyreslayers of the Thungur Lodge, and many more.[1a][2a]

The Syari have many beloved tales of Grungni worshipping Duardin being humbled by their own, exceptional creations. This arrogance and confidence in their own creations is in turn met with the equally arrogant and stubborn nature of the Duardin, forging a rivalry that mimics the ones shared between their patron gods.[1a][2a]
